Gerald Durrell

(Jamshedpur, 1925 – Saint Helier, 1995) Escritor, naturalista, conservacionista, zoólogo y presentador de televisión británico. Fundó el Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust y el Zoo de Jersey (actualmente renombrado como Durrell Wildlife) en la isla de Jersey en 1958. Hijo de un ingeniero británico destinado en la India y hermano del novelista Lawrence Durrell.
